Refund Policy
International Institute of Vedic Wellness (IIVW)
At the International Institute of Vedic Wellness (IIVW), we are committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences rooted in the wisdom of the Vedas. We also understand that students may encounter unforeseen circumstances requiring course withdrawal. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which tuition refunds may be considered.
1. Tuition Fees
1.1 Refund Schedule:
- 100% refund if the student withdraws before the start of the academic term.
- 80% refund if the student withdraws within the first two weeks of the academic term.
- 50% refund if the student withdraws within the first four weeks of the academic term.
- No refund if the student withdraws after the fourth week of the academic term.
1.2 Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving a written withdrawal request.
2. Non-Refundable Fees
2.1 Application fees, registration fees, and administrative fees are non-refundable.
2.2 Fees for course materials, textbooks, or supplies are non-refundable once distributed.
3. Withdrawal Process
3.1 Students must officially withdraw by submitting a written request to the Office of the Registrar/Admissions Officer.
3.2 The date of withdrawal is based on when the written request is received.
3.3 Non-attendance or verbal communication with faculty/staff does not constitute official withdrawal.
4. Refund Exceptions
4.1 If IIVW cancels a course or program, students will receive a full tuition refund.
4.2 Students dismissed for disciplinary reasons may not be eligible for a refund.
4.3 Refunds for extenuating circumstances (e.g., serious illness or family emergency) will be considered case-by-case, and supporting documentation may be required.
5. Financial Aid and Scholarships
5.1 Refunds for students with financial aid or scholarships will follow the terms of the aid/scholarship program.
5.2 In some cases, refunds may be returned to the funding source as required by agreement or regulation.
6. Third-Party Payments
If tuition was paid by a third party (e.g., sponsor or employer), any refund will be issued to the third party in accordance with their refund policy.
7. Disputes and Appeals
Students who believe they are entitled to a refund may submit a written appeal to the Office of the Registrar/Admissions Officer. The decision of the Registrar/Admissions Officer is final.
8. Changes to the Refund Policy
IIVW reserves the right to revise this Refund Policy at any time. Students will be notified of updates via email and the official website.
